Forhumanity Europe is the leading association for professional technology ethicists, advancing ethics consultations, audits, and evaluations. With the increasing demand for ethics and human values alignment in automated systems, skilled ethicists in consultative roles are essential.
Despite the global demand for senior ethicists, there are no recognized standards for the professional background or competencies of AI and Digital Ethicists. This gap puts pressure on ethicists and can undermine ethical decision-making. Forhumanity Europe is working to organize ethicists and develop unified standards for chief ethicists and ethics consultants.
